A Study on the Use of Professor Li Tie"s Dampness-Resolving and Detoxification Method in the Treatment of Sjögren"s Syndrome

      Objective: Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Calculation Platform (V3.5), this study aims to explore Professor Li Tie"s medication research on the treatment of Sj?gren"s syndrome with the method of resolving dampness and detoxifying, providing a reference for its clinical treatment. Methods: A total of 100 cases of complete patient medical records who visited the outpatient clinics of Professor Li Tie"s Inheritance Studio in Dalian Second People"s Hospital, Shengjing Hospital Dalian Branch, Dalian Lushunkou District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Dalian Jinzhou District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2013 to December 2021 and met the diagnostic criteria for Sj?gren"s syndrome were collected. A total of 100 prescriptions were analyzed, and a drug database was established using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Calculation Platform (V3.5). The analysis included the statistical analysis of drug usage frequency, analysis of drug properties, flavors, meridians, and functions, as well as analysis of association rules and clustering. Results: A total of 100 prescriptions meeting the inclusion criteria were analyzed, using 188 kinds of Chinese medicines. The top 10 medicines used were Barbed Skullcap, Wild Chrysanthemum, Radix Scrophulariae, Raw Radix Rehmanniae, Dwarf Lilyturf Tuber, Pseudostellaria Root, Tuckahoe, Hedyotis Diffusa, Adenophora Root, and Prepared White Peony Root. Among the commonly used drugs, cold-natured drugs were the most used, and bitter-flavored drugs were the most common in the five flavors. Lung meridian drugs were the most used in the meridian distribution, and heat-clearing drugs were the most used in the drug function classification. The top five drug association rules were: Barbed Skullcap, Radix Scrophulariae-Wild Chrysanthemum, Hedyotis Diffusa-Tuckahoe, Barbed Skullcap, Pseudostellaria Root-Wild Chrysanthemum, Wild Chrysanthemum-Barbed Skullcap, Wild Chrysanthemum, Raw Radix Rehmanniae-Barbed Skullcap. Cluster analysis yielded three groups of drug combinations. Conclusion: Professor Li Tie focuses on treating Sj?gren"s syndrome with the method of resolving dampness and detoxifying, emphasizing nourishing yin and promoting saliva production while considering resolving dampness and detoxifying.
