Objective: To explore the clinical effect of Nan Shaolin Station post technique combined with thermosensitive moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) of cold dampness obstruction type. Method: 80 patients with cold dampness obstruction type KOA admitted to the hospital from November 2024 to March 2026 were selected and randomly divided into a control group (40 cases) and an experimental group (40 cases) using a random number table method; The control group was treated with quadriceps exercises combined with thermosensitive moxibustion, while the experimental group was treated with Nanshaolin Station post skills combined with thermosensitive moxibustion; Compare the efficacy, TCM syndrome score, knee joint pain level, and joint function between the two groups. The total effective rate of the experimental group was 95.00% (38/40), which was higher than the control group's 77.50% (31/40) (P<0.05); The scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and visual analog scale (VAS) in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05); After treatment, the osteoarthritis index (WOMAC) scores of Xi'an University and McMaster University in the experimental group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Nan Shaolin Station's post technique and thermosensitive moxibustion is effective in treating cold dampness obstruction type KOA, reducing traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, alleviating knee joint pain, and improving joint function.
