| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Zishen Yutai Pills combined with atosiban in the treatment of late threatened abortion. Methods: A total of 80 patients with late threatened abortion admitted to the Department of Obstetrics, Tangshan Maternity and Child Health Hospital between January 2024 and June 2025 were enrolled. All patients satisfied the clinical diagnostic criteria for late threatened abortion and provided voluntary informed consent for the study. Participants were randomized by the random number table method into control group and combination group, 40 patients per group. The control group received atosiban acetate injection for routine fetal protection. The combination group received oral Zishen Yutai Pills as adjuvant therapy on top of atosiban acetate injection. ZYP was continued until symptom resolution. Clinical status was closely followed during treatment. The duration of clinical symptoms was compared between groups. Results: Clinical observations showed that the median durations of uterine contraction (0 d vs. 3 d), abdominal pain (0 d vs. 3 d), and lower abdominal distension and discomfort in the combination treatment group were significantly shorter than those in the control group receiving western medicine alone (all P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the median duration of vaginal bleeding between the two groups (2 d vs. 1 d) (P = 0.814).Conclusion: patients with late threatened abortion, combination therapy of Zishen Yutai Pills and atosiban acetate injection significantly shortens the duration of uterine contractions, abdominal pain and lower abdominal distension compared with atosiban acetate injection monotherapy. |
